The role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant & Administration Officer to join our team. This role will involve supporting our accounting department and assisting with various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our office.

Key responsibilities

• Actively participate in debtors control weekly routine.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and month-end closing processes.
• Perform general Bookkeeping and accounting duties.
• Manage office supplies.
• Assist with Payroll Administration.
• Provide administrative support to the management team, including scheduling meetings and maintaining files.
• Assist in managing the day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable.

Qualifications

• 2/3 years experience in accounting and administration roles is an asset.
• A Level in Account is essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and accounting software (e.g., Sage,) and ERP systems (Odoo) is considered an Asset.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluency in Maltese and English.
• Demonstrate a Can-do attitude, is highly organised, meticulous and attentive to detail.
